Future Tides is an intergenerational community dance program and performance for: minis (4-7 years), juniors (8-12) seniors (13 –17), emerging adults (18 –25) and adult community (26 – 60+). This community dance program is based on skills development in contemporary dance, and collaborative choreographic development that builds into a large-scale community performance.

The program is accessible, inclusive and requires no previous dance training. Each group (as above) will engage in a 10-week program, including a 1-hour weekly contemporary dance class, followed by a 1-hour choreographic development class; working collaboratively to create new dance pieces to be performed at the Lake Macquarie Museum of Art and Culture, Yapang.
