Catapult’s International/Regional residency program is focused on cross-global collaborative contemporary practice, developing new models for choreographic development

The Program offers reciprocal exchange - curating international choreographers to collaborate with regionally based professional choreographers, dancers & multi-disciplinary artists in Newcastle, NSW; focused on seeding, developing, presenting, producing & touring NEW cross-global contemporary dance works.

Unlike other works, Ms Erdos has been commissioned to create - the Propel International/Regional residency allows time for artists to exchange ideas and get to know each other across cultures. "We were laughing after spending three hours in the studio on the first day - sweating over each other and rolling on top of each other, and throwing each other around - that this is cultural relations," she said. "I mean you would never get that anywhere else, that we really feel that we know each other, and we've only been here less than a week."
