Alexandra Ford Ortg!nally from Newcastle, Alexandra Is an independent dance a.rtlst. Alex trained profession.ally a.t the New Zea.land School of Dance, majoring 1n contemporary, gradua.ting with a. Diploma. of Dance. She performed works by Antony Hamilton and Rafael Bona.chela. for her Ora.dua.tion Season. Upon graduation, Alexandra. gained a. professlona.l contract with Footnote: New Zea.la.nd Da.nce Company In 2014-2015, working with international choreographer Alexa Wilson for ‘The Status of Being’, as well as collaborating with international choreographer Eric La.nguet a.nd French contemporary dance company Da.nses en l’R for ‘Bbeals’, touring both works nationally and internationally. In 2016, Alexandra. moved to Sydney and gra.dua.ted with a Bachelor of Dance through AMP A, working as a.n independent artist with PACT Centre for Emerging Artists with ‘!’ , and with Australian singer- song writer Emma. Louise. 1n 201 7, Alexandra. moved to Israel to work with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC) Ma.sa., performing repertoire under the direction of Danielle Ohn a.nd Ra.mi Be”er. Alexandra moved back to Austra.1.1.a. ln 2018 and Is currently working with Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub as a member of the catapult Company. In 2019 she worked with Israell/Brlt1sh choreographer Rachel Erdos in catapult’s International/Regional commission: ‘Tbe Loneliness Project’ and choreographed Re/collect, a. new work with fellow company member Mikayla Nangle as part of a. Hunter Seed Residency. As an emerging choreographer, she Is currently creating a. new work on Catapult’s youth 1nitiative: Tbe Flipslde Project
Zackari Watt
Zackari Watt performed, bespoke music for a wide arI’83 of different productions including a touring theatrical g!am rock stage show, a sci-ft rock opera, multiple cabaret shows & live theatre productions. He bas written over 600 pieces of music & performed over 1000 shows. He has also been a director, producer & creator of creative adventures in Newcastle over the past 10 years. Zackarl has been heavily involved 1n catapult a.s a composer: Warriors Rest, In Search of the Lost Thlng, The Edge and as 2016 and 201 7 Propel Collaborative Artist collaborating with Joshua Thomson’s The Sum of Parts, and with Omer Backley-Astrachan on Twelve Tall Trees. In 2018 Zackari was commissioned to create the score for Legs On the Wall’s Cats Cradle’, Form Dance Projects, continuing his relationship with director and choreographer Joshua Thomson. He most recently created scores for Catapult’s Mixed-Bill season working in collaboration with Craig baby & Adam Blanch
