Triple Bill Performance: Three dynamic new works by Australia's leading independent choreographers
A dynamic night of professional contemporary dance performance at Warners Bay Theatre, baramayiba. Choreographers: Tra Mi Dinh, Anton and Sara Black create original short works on Catapult's professional Company. Thursday 28th and 29th August 2025 @ 7.30pm.

SUNDAY NIGHT SOCIAL: Dance Makers Collective and Newcastle's incredible musicians: Half Nelson
Don’t you ever wish you could travel back to the Sunday night dance? Take a spin across a glassy floor, to a swinging live band under sparkling lights? Join Dance Makers Collective and Newcastle’s Half Nelson in a solid evening of joyous dancing with your partners, family and friends. This event takes inspiration from the peak dance hall and disco eras of the 1960s and 70s, reimagined for the modern lover of dancing. Whether you have a dance partner, like a night out on the town, or have a boogie in your bedroom, The Sunday Night Social is the place for you! Sunday 31st August @ 8.30pm

Deep - Dive Masterclasses
The Impact Festival will be hosting deep-dive masterclasses with 4 outstanding Australian professional artists: Tra Mi Dinh, Anton, Kristina Chan and Tara Samaya, across Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August. The workshops are for emerging and professional artists. Attendance in the deep-dive master-classes is only available through the Impact MultiPack Event Pass.

Art and Insight - Friday 29th August
A Day of Incredible Artist Talks, Panel Discussions and Insights into the Arts Sector. Includes: First Nations Cultural Protocol, The First Nations - Safe Spaces Report:Jasmin Sheppard, First Nations Artist Panels, Place Matters: Creative Perspectives on Regional Change: Philip Channells (Northern Rivers), Building Regional Organisations with prominent regional directors: Rosemarie Milsom (Newcastle Writers Festival), Janie Gibson (whalechorus), Adam Deusien (Lingua Franca)and Braddon Snape (the Creator Incubator)and more! A Call To Arms: Film Event
A Samaya Wives film created in collaboration between DRILL Performance Company Inc. and the Bob Brown Foundation. A dance film that traverses the landscapes of Takayna; from rugged coastline to the deep ancient temperate rain forests, exploring through movement, the embodied effects of its landscapes and the sensation of its contrasting strength and fragility. A CALL TO ARMS is both a statement and a literal call out to the public for action, made through the body and collective energy – to listen to and to protect these incredible places. Saturday 30th August @4.15pm. Hosted by MAP mima.

In Conversation with Stephanie Lake
Join renowned choreographer Stephanie Lake for an intimate conversation about her creative journey, choreographic process, and the evolving landscape of contemporary dance. A rare opportunity to hear from one of Australia’s most prolific artistic leaders. Saturday 30th August: 2.30pm - 3.30pm
